Data deletion instructions

Use these steps to remove your personal data from b9design, including data associated with Facebook Login or other connected accounts.

Last updated: September 4, 2026

Overview

You can delete individual resources from your dashboard at any time. To delete your entire account and associated personal data, send a request to ludwig@b9design.co.za. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

Delete resources yourself

While signed in, you can remove hosted resources from the dashboard:

  1. Open Sign in and go to your dashboard.
  2. Delete applications, databases, compose projects, servers, domains, and notification channels you no longer need.
  3. Disconnect Git or other provider credentials if you connected them.

Deleting a resource removes it from the platform. It does not by itself close your account.

Request full account and data deletion

  1. Email ludwig@b9design.co.za from the same address used on your b9design account.
  2. Use the subject line Data deletion request and include your account email and, if you know it, your name.
  3. If you signed in with Facebook or another social provider, mention that provider so we can unlink it.
  4. We may ask you to confirm the request before we proceed.
  5. After confirmation we delete your account profile, authentication sessions, connected provider tokens, and associated service records from production systems.

Facebook / Meta users

If you used Facebook Login with b9design:

  1. Follow the full deletion request steps above so we can remove your b9design data.
  2. Optionally remove b9design from Facebook: open Facebook → Settings → Apps and websites → find b9design → Remove.

Removing the app in Facebook stops future sharing from Facebook. It does not automatically erase data already stored on b9design, so you still need to email us (or use in-app deletion when available).

What we delete

  • Account profile (name, email, password hash, profile image).
  • Sessions and linked login provider records (including Facebook identifiers).
  • Applications, databases, servers, and other resources tied to your user ID.
  • Notification settings and provider credentials stored for your account.

What we may retain

We may keep limited billing or legal records (for example invoices or fraud-prevention logs) where we are required to do so. Those records are not used for any other purpose. Backup copies expire on our normal backup rotation.
